CuteNews Ban IPs
Do you have a user that comments on your blog, and you just want to get rid of that person for good? How about ban them from commenting if they are just impulsive, and rude? Use the IP Banning feature, and get rid of those people who are just unwanted on your blog.
Step 1
To begin, you will need login to CuteNews, and choose the EDIT NEWS option in the menu bar.
Step 2
From the EDIT NEWS section, you will choose the blog where the commentor you wish to blog left their message.
Step 3
Next, you scroll to the end of your blog, and you choose the commentor who you wish to ban.
Step 4
With the popup, you will see the poster's name, e-mail, IP, the date of the comment, and of course, the actual comment. To ban the user, choose BAN THIS IP, and then click SAVE CHANGES.Step 5
Once you have saved the ban on the IP address, you can also delete the comment, if you find it unecessary to keep, by choosing the checkbox beside the comment preview on the news editing screen, and then choosing DELETE SELECTED.
Completion!
Congratulations! You have banned a user that you will no longer have to deal with in the future!
